The museum is based at the former Alexandra railway station which houses a collection of historical and railway interest. A 610mm gauge railway has been built around the site to provide visitors with the experience of narrow-gauge operations. The museum is planning to extend to the former right of way previously occupied by the Rubicon to Alexandra tramway. |
