| This small railway
is located in the grounds of the Coal Creek
Historical Village. This village houses a museum to
the discovery, development, and extraction of the
first black coal mined in Victoria. The Village has a
mine, stores, and the Coal Creek Bush Tramway links
other exhibits and venues. The tramway is run by
volunteers and is fully accredited. The Tramway
is part of the exhibits of the late 19th
and early 20th century contained in the
village. |
| The Coal
Creek Community Park and Museum is FREE entry to the
public. The Park is Open Thursday to Monday
and Public Holidays from 10am to 4.30pm (It is
closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, unless arranged
for group booking).
The
Tramway is also running when the
Park is open.
Entrance to the
Village is now free but a fee is charged
for a ride on the tramway.
