The Mornington Railway was formed in 1984 to restore and operate the Baxter -
Mornington line as a tourist railway. In February 1991 after many years of
effort by a dedicated group of volunteers, approval was granted by the Governor
in Council to commence line operations subject to major line restoration work.
Trains now run between Moorooduc Station and Mornington Station,
cnr Yulies and Watts Roads Mornington.. A
courtesy bus runs between Mornington Station and the township.

of each month departing Moorooduc Station from 11.00am to
3.00pm.
